FAQ
Everything you need to know about wagering on Clash Royale matches
Getting Started5 questions
CashRoyale is a Web3 wagering platform that allows Clash Royale players to bet on 1v1 matches using cryptocurrency. Connect your wallet, link your Clash Royale account, stake ETH or USDC, and battle for real prizes. The winner takes 95% of the pot, with a 5% platform fee.
Getting started is easy: 1) Connect your crypto wallet (we recommend MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet). 2) Link your Clash Royale account by completing our deck verification. 3) Connect your Telegram for match notifications. 4) Create a challenge or accept an existing one. 5) Play your match in Clash Royale and claim your winnings!
No, CashRoyale is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Supercell in any way. We are an independent platform that uses the official Clash Royale API to verify match results. Clash Royale is a trademark of Supercell.
CashRoyale is built on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network developed by Coinbase. Base offers fast transactions, low fees, and strong security. We support both ETH and USDC for wagering.
Yes, you need cryptocurrency to place wagers. We accept ETH and USDC on the Base network. If you have funds on other chains (Ethereum, Solana, etc.), you can use our built-in bridge to transfer them to Base.
Wallet & Payments6 questions
We support any EVM-compatible wallet including MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, Rainbow, and more. Simply click 'Connect Wallet' and select your preferred option.
For ETH: minimum 0.001 ETH, maximum 10 ETH per challenge. For USDC: minimum $1 USDC, maximum $25,000 USDC. These limits help ensure fair play and platform stability.
If you have funds on Ethereum, Solana, or other supported chains, click the 'Bridge' button in the Create Challenge flow. Our integrated bridge powered by Defuse/NEAR Intents allows you to swap any token to USDC on Base in seconds.
CashRoyale takes a 5% fee from the total pot when a match is completed. This means the winner receives 95% of the combined stakes. There are no fees for creating challenges, and you only pay the platform fee if you win.
When you refer a friend using your unique referral code, you earn 2% of every bet they place. Referral earnings are paid out automatically on-chain when matches are completed. Check your profile to find your referral code and track earnings.
Your winnings are automatically sent to your connected wallet when you claim a victory. There's no withdrawal process - funds go directly to your wallet address on the Base network. You can then use any exchange or bridge to move funds as needed.
Clash Royale Linking5 questions
Go to your Profile page and enter your Clash Royale player tag (found in-game under your profile). We'll generate a random 8-card deck that you need to use in a single battle. Once you play a match with that exact deck, click 'Verify' and we'll confirm the link automatically.
Open Clash Royale, tap your profile icon in the top-left corner, and you'll see your player tag below your username. It starts with a # symbol followed by letters and numbers (e.g., #ABC123XY).
Make sure you: 1) Used the EXACT deck we generated (all 8 cards must match). 2) Played a 1v1 battle (not 2v2, war, or party modes). 3) Completed the battle within the 15-minute verification window. If it still fails, try starting a new verification.
Currently, you cannot change your linked account once verified. This prevents fraud and ensures match integrity. If you have a legitimate need to change accounts, contact our support team via Telegram.
Deck verification proves you own the Clash Royale account. Since anyone can look up public player tags, we need to verify actual account ownership. By playing a match with a randomly-generated deck, you prove you control the account.
Challenges & Betting7 questions
Click 'Create Challenge', select your stake amount (ETH or USDC), optionally set trophy range requirements, and submit. Your challenge will be listed for other players to accept. Challenges expire after 24 hours if not accepted.
Browse the Challenges page, find an open challenge that matches your trophy range, and click 'Accept'. You'll need to match the creator's stake. Once accepted, both players have the challenge details and can start their 1v1 match in Clash Royale.
If no one accepts your challenge within 24 hours, it expires and your staked funds are automatically refunded to your wallet. There's no penalty for expired challenges.
We use the official Clash Royale API to automatically detect and verify match results. Once both players have played their 1v1 match, our system identifies the battle, confirms the participants, and determines the winner based on crown count.
If a match ends in a draw (same number of crowns), both players receive their original stake back minus a small gas fee. No platform fee is charged on draws.
When creating a challenge, you can set minimum and/or maximum trophy requirements for opponents. This ensures fair matchmaking - a 5000 trophy player won't face someone with 8000 trophies unless they choose to.
Yes, you can cancel an open challenge that hasn't been accepted yet. Go to the challenge page and click 'Cancel'. Your full stake will be refunded. Once a challenge is accepted, it cannot be cancelled.
Rewards & Referrals5 questions
Share your unique referral code with friends. When they sign up and place bets, you earn 2% of their stake amount on every completed match. Earnings are paid automatically on-chain - no claiming required.
Your referral code is displayed on your Profile page. You'll also find a 'Copy Referral Link' button that generates a shareable URL with your code embedded.
No, there's no limit to how much you can earn from referrals. The more active players you refer, the more you earn. Referral earnings are calculated and distributed automatically for each completed match.
No, the referral program is single-tier only. You earn from players who used your code directly, not from players they subsequently refer.
Visit your Profile page to see your total referral count and cumulative earnings in both ETH and USDC. Earnings update in real-time as referred players complete matches.
Technical Issues6 questions
First, wait a few minutes - the Clash Royale API can have slight delays. Then click 'Verify Battle' on the challenge page. Make sure you played a standard 1v1 ladder match (not party mode, war, or friendly battles). If issues persist, contact support with your challenge ID.
No, if a blockchain transaction fails, your funds remain in your wallet. You may need to pay a small gas fee for the failed transaction. Check your wallet history and try again. Ensure you have enough ETH for gas fees.
Telegram is required for match notifications. When your challenge is accepted or when you need to play, we send instant alerts. This ensures you don't miss your match window and helps coordinate timing between players.
Try these steps: 1) Refresh the page. 2) Make sure your wallet extension is unlocked. 3) Clear your browser cache. 4) Try a different browser. 5) Ensure you're on the Base network. If problems persist, try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet.
Join our official Telegram group and describe the issue with as much detail as possible (screenshots, transaction hashes, challenge IDs). Our team monitors the channel and will assist you promptly.
Our smart contracts are open source and available for review on GitHub. While we follow security best practices and have undergone internal audits, we recommend users exercise caution and only wager amounts they're comfortable with.
